SAI Motor Works ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and when you deal with our workshop, why we collect it, and how you can access or correct it.

What we collect

When you request a quote or a booking on this website, we collect the details you enter:

• your name, phone number, email address and suburb
• your vehicle's make, model, year and registration number
• the services you need, your description of the problem and your preferred drop-off date
• how you'd like us to contact you
• any photos you choose to upload

When you call, email or visit the workshop, we collect the information you give us so we can help you. Our hosting provider also records basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the website running and secure. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies on this website.

How we use it

• to respond to your quote or booking request and contact you about it
• to inspect, service and repair your vehicle, and keep a record of the work we've done
• to lodge inspection results with Transport for NSW when you book a pink slip or blue slip
• to protect the website from spam and misuse
• to meet our legal obligations

We won't send you marketing messages unless you've agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We only share it when we need to, with:

• the service providers that run this website and deliver our email, including Vercel (website hosting) and Resend (sending form emails)
• Transport for NSW, for pink slip and blue slip inspection results
• parts suppliers or specialist repairers, if they're needed for work on your vehicle
• anyone we're required or authorised to share it with by law

Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States.

Third-party content

Our contact section includes a Google Maps map, and we link to our Facebook and Instagram pages. These services may collect information about you under their own privacy policies.

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details below.
